I would recommend New Life Spectrum pellets for daily feeding, they seem to bring out all the colors

You can also use Aqua-Glo lighting tubes that enhance yellow and orange.

Make sure your water param's are correct and you will optimize the color of all of your fish.

My fish look there best after a fresh water change
and i use spectrum, or hikari gold ( rarely)

I say any good food will help foster its natural colors (NLS, Hikari, Omega-One). On top of good food, clean water and high quality full-spectrum lights will really make a difference. I use 10K and 50/50 T5 bulbs.

+1 on the NLS...pristine water conditions and i hear that black substrate and BG really make colors pop.
