Alright this question can be for any pleco owner but more importantly for tiger pleco owners to diagnose a potential problem. I have been dealing with sickness in my tank recently, more specifically velvet... or so I think. I am not sure if my pleco got it or not, but I am noticing these very small specs on him like it would be velvet. He doesn't looked distressed or anything. I was curious is any of you notice these specs on your pleco... maybe it's just something that is specific to these kind of plecos, or maybe mine did get sicj during this "velvet" outbreak. Reason why I put velvet in quotations is because I tend to misdiganose diseases and the fish are perfectly fine when I think they are sick... very stressful to say the least. Thanks for all your input.

I put copper safe in the tank just because it works quickly and it seemed my Bosemanis were being overtaken quickly. Ph is low--6.4 I'm working on getting that up. Ammonia and nitrites are good--0.0 I do not have a nitrate test kit. Temp is sitting at about 80.
