I have a 90 gallon tank with a 30 gallon wet/dry(diy). Its about 1/3 full of water maybe a little more. Currently right now my 2 stealth heaters are in the main display tank. (one 200watt, and one 250watt). I want to move the two heaters into the sump. Will my tank still hold the same temperature if i do so? I dont want to put them in the w/d and the temp go down a couple of degrees. The water pump is pushing 500-550gph. Any thoughts? thanks.

Heres a pic of the setup, excuse the dirty apartment, lol.

it shoud be even better becouse there water flows better there en so more water passes by greets so the temp wil be more stabil

do eet!

Relocating the heaters is one of the best benefits of having a sump. Not seeing the ugly things, as well as keeping them out of the reach of destructive fish.

It will be fine, as long as the are submerged all the way. I wanted to put mine in the sump, but it is too long and won't fit.

Okay, well i put the two heaters right in front of the pump. Its been working great thanks for the input!!

putting them in the sump works GREAT
