I stopped by my lfs today to my surprise the owner said he found me a wyckii in the 4-6" range will be here on tuesday. Now i have been looking all over the net searching for good juvi pics for comparison to use when i go to pick it up. What are some traits to look for that will tell me for sure its a wyckii and not a wyckioides? I have seen pics of 6-7" wyckii that look like the adults but how is the coloration at a smaller size?

It's really hard if not next to impossible to tell really small wyckii's from wyckioides......the only way i know is to wait till abt mayb 5'+ the wyckioides will star to develop a reddish tail. To id it the most distinguishing trait is probably the long adipose fin
