Hi everyone. I have been following these forums for a while and seem to finally be getting the hang of taking care of my tank. I have 2 dalmatian mollies and about 19 fry from my female. I run a tetra whisper hang on back filter and a standard under gravel filter.
Monday I took my carbon heads and air stones off to give them a good cleaning because she wasn't running great. I cleaned up the air stones but they broke when i tried to put them back in and so today after work i headed to the pet store and bought some new air stones. I got home and it seems they don't fit in the small tubes meant to hold the air stones on the end!
What do I do?
- Can i cut the tube a bit since it got a little bent?
-How can I make them fit, or are they meant for only one type of air stone?
- Does the stone have to be all the way down at the bottom of the uplift tube to work or can it be part of the way down and still work properly?
