im new to these and i was wondering other then the feeders its getting now what else could i feed him? would it accept any bloodworms or beefheart. hes about 3-4 inches. thanks

all my indos accepted bloodworms right when i got them.. try cutting up market shrimp in to small pieces and see if they take it.

They will accept anything from beefheart to pellets. You just have to train them, don't feed them so much! If you are looking to get them off of feeders, then you need to start when they are small. Once they get older you might as well call it quit. They are like dogs. You can not teach an old dog new tricks. Good luck!!

both will work. Beef heart is very messy though.

You can also try brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and krill

get them on pellets while they are young. i have all 16 of my indos ranging from 1"-6" on pellets and dried krill. makes life so much easier.
