My current set up is a pond with a built up sump filter, and I need to add in a skimmer.
Question is how can I do a DIY skimmer? Before the filter or after? If before I can utilize on the existing pump so that I can conserve some energy if at the end, I may have to add in another pump. Or should it be by itself drawing direct from the pond?
It would be great if anyone care to share pictures.
