here fishy fishy
When you guys feed Dew worms, I was wondering what are the cleaning procedures you go through?

I'm referring to the worms I pick in my backyard, should there be any worries with the ones you buy at the tackle shops, due to pesticides?

I find that they make a mess in the aquarium.....even the fish keep crapping dirt forever!

Lately, I have been letting the worms sit in cold water, and they expell quite a bit of dirt, after rinsing them through a few more times, I feed them to the fish....should I let them sit for few days prior to feeding?

Could you guys give a depiction of the process you follow?

cheers

run them under cold water for a bit, this should wash away any dirt and let them expell their excrements. Then they shouldn't be too awfully messy.

yes, thats what i ment by excrements.

something about being stressed by the cold running water makes them....welll crap themselves, and this gets rid of this.
