Hi I have own fish for a long time now and have a comm pleco for about 7 years now.... but recently i have gotten two royal plecs and was wondering how to car efor them I have gotten them hikari algae wafers and wanted to know is that enough for them

royals are woodeaters so a bit of wood is a must!
furthermore you can give them all sorts of pellets but be carefull not to feed them too much protein as they have a hard time digesting that stuff and might get bloated or even die over it. they also love veggies like cucumber, courgette etc.

dont need to feed veggies every day cuz i would destroy your water but every week once or twice would be good.
This would be a great chance to remind everyone to do their research PRIOR to buying a fish
