QUESTION ON MOTOS

Is there really a problem with pool filter sand and stingray's? Would this really hurt them.?? I just dont see how it would cause a problem. &

Would these make good tank mates for a moto?

2- 7" jack dempseys
1- 6" texas
1-9" pacu
1- 13" fire eel
1-6" thinbar dat
1-6" leporinus

and if I added 1-7" moto

I really want a stingray but want to feel safe about his enviroment.

Also my ph is around 7.6-7.8 is this too high? Can I keep one at this? Can they be acclimated to withstand higher ph?

I can't tell you about the tank mates because my rays are only with other rays.... But my ph is around the same as yours so yes if you acclimate slowly then you should be fine with this pH. As long as you are getting a healthly ray in the beginning slow acclimation is the key! A slow drip is the best way to go.
