well becuase i know how much they go for but i wasnt to sure if it was real because its a guy off craigslist and he said he got them from thailand and he's selling them for 50 bucks if u can help me find a cheaper price tell me about it because i really want one and the other thing i want to know is can i feed it chingsmix sp100 max but im not to sure if its good for it or bad for it

Go with Julie from flowerhornsfrombeyond @ the fhcraze link. She's the one who imported them all from Thailand and hooked all the people in the U.S. with them up for $20 a piece. I got 2 from her 6 weeks ago and they are nice and healthy. All the other fry she has for sale too are all well worth the money.
there are a bunch of silk cichlids in Golden Aquarium Elmhurst NY, near Elmhurst Hospital. I don't know if its a hybrid or dyed color.
50 dollars is not bad but it depends on the size. The bigger they are the more they cost. If you are buying them local make sure they are eating and active before you buy them. As for feeding. Just feed them a good quality pellet like Hikari.
