Question on type of sand for stingrays?

Sorry this may be an old and common question. I just can't find any info on it anywhere. What brand of sand can i use for my stingray? Are there any fine sand that comes in black?

I recommend pool filter sand but if your looking for black I would use 3m quartz sand....Avoid using to fine of a sand cuz it irritates the ray and can clog up ur canister filters if your using one...
