I have a question in regards to using water conditioners. I use stress coat By API in the recommended dosages currently. I have been doing water changes on some of my tanks several times a week and though I use a water conditioner for chlorine and chloramin I am wondering if in the brief moments before the chemicals are removed if any harmful effects can take place on my fish. I know the water conditioners work fast but If I am cleaning these tanks as much as three times a week or even everyday could I be doing my fish more harm then good?

Water conditioners work instantly. If you do a WC that is 20 gallons put the recommened conditioner dosage before putting in the new water. By the time you say "I hope this conditioner is working" it has done it's job. No need to fret over this. :)

I agree with packer43064, if you add your conditioner to the new water before putting it in your tank...no worries!
