I'm making my own overflow box like my old project but i'm not fully satisfied with my old results as I didnt cut them using a table saw, but actually using a hacksaw :[ so the point of overflow is uneven. To prevent doing this again I was wondering if it would be better/more beneficial for me to drill holes that act like slits? any imput would be nice. the pump I am planning on running does 740 with a max head of 7 feet.

pic of my other overflow box I built.

thanks

The only problem I can foresee is the holes in the overflow becoming clogged. Other than that, nice idear.

I just finished it not too long ago. Waiting for the glue to dry. I'll post pics up later. I just was really careful this time around when I was hacking away with a hack saw. And I used a razor blade for most of the longer cuts..
