Question regarding 55gal.

Hey people,

I'm stuck with some questions.

1. Some of my plants are starting to get brown leaves (even though they are growing so fast) I will get some pictures if requested
2. I currently removed most of the common plecos i still have 3 (2 bristlenose and 1 common, which i will remove as soon as he is a certain size, for the shop to buy)
3. I have around 35 platys in there (is this overstocked?)

You are fine but would personally get rid of the common pleco before it's fully mature like you already stated.

I agree. I had a common get to ~14" (and they get much larger than that.) Your 55 will eventually have a big problem with water quality if you feed the pleco properly.

Otherwise, you're good to go.

I've never kept plants, although I can see that brown leaves have various causes. If it were me, I'd also raise that question here:
