question regarding korean perch

I dont know but there are quite a few members here who would like to have them.
 
i might be able to get some pretty soon. im still looking around for a vendor in my area. the one im aiming to get is the coreoperca scherzeri. so i hope i can get my hands on few of those or any other breed. ill update you guys if things work out.
 
As far as I am aware, there are no US laws banning the import of these fish. However, I do believe it is illegal for them to be deported from Korea.
 
i dunno when you got in the hobby. but wes used to have like a batch of 10+ but i do believe they are illegal to export out of korea. its a food source and i believe the national fish.
 
from my research i believe there is about 4 species of the korean perch. and out of 4 i think 1 or 2 is on a banned list. one of them is the coreoperca herzi. the guy didnt mention which ones he had but im guessing it can be, coreaperca scherzeri, or the coreoperca whiteheadi. im gonna go and check it out. and see what they are.

siniperca scherzeri
Coreoperca scherzeri.

so lets see how things go. they are both korean perches. just looks slightly different. i hope i can get at least 1 species in. it would be awesome. :)
 
oh. lol thats the new guy that works there, his name is tommy. i dont work at that place anymore. but he can get the stuff that you need. or just ask ted directly when you see him.
