No, I didn't overfeed my fish
He did that himself.
I thought I had researched enough and learned enough that I could tackle most problems that present themselves, but this is one that I wasn't prepared for.
I know that most fish will chase fry. However, I have a Killifish (relatively peaceful, leaves everyone alone) with a few mollies (harass each other, but not "seriously"). One of them gave birth to an undermined amount of fry. I wasn't there to witness it, nor did I put her in a separate tank, I have a fry tank with a bunch of mollies already, and didn't want to care for several more. So I figured, some of the fry will get eaten by the killi or the mollies themselves. What I didn't account for... The mollies didn't touch the fry. The killifish ate ANY AND ALL he could chase and catch, and only him... I pulled 6 fry out because I didn't want him to keep feeding. Suffice to say, his belly is HUGE. I imagine he must've eaten somewhere along the lines of 15-20 fry. Is he in serious trouble for eating this many?
Thanks.
