I would like some advise on installing a return line from my diy wet/dry filter, I have also installed the diy pvc overflows (1 inch each) on my 125 gallon aquarium. For my pump I am using a mag drive 7, when I hooked it up the pair of overflows could not keep up with the pump. I have read in previous threads that you could install a "t" connector and divide part of water flow back to the sump, I would like to know for those who use the mag drive waterpumps, is there a pvc coupler that will accept the 3/4ths threaded size and the opposite side would measure 1 inch? I anyone has any illustrations or photos of a plumbing schematic would be appreciated. thanks

Had same type problem I just lengthened the return line by 3 feet.

thanks for the advise, i did pick up the coupler from lowes today and now the system is running fine, I just have to play with both ball shut off valves to try to regulate the water level in the main tank so that it doesnt' run too high or too low.
