Question regarding snail treatment...

i have a heavily planted tank and have had a recent outbreak of snails. my tank has 4 birchirs, clown knife, pleco and a lima shovelnose. i recently bought a couple of assassin snail to cure the problem naturally but all they seem to do is cling to each other lol!

So my question is will snail treatment affect any of my fish? im posting this in this section as i have 4 birchirs im worried about...
 
mmm, I dunno how to answer the question, but I will take the easier way, moving all the bichirs and tank mates into a separate tank, then start dealing with the snails problem.
 
Or get some clown loaches,they sort the problem pretty damn well,or do as above if You have the room.
