question!?!?snail missing

not really sure if this goes here but.. yesterday my snail was in the tank.. today the shell is on the bottom empty...? could my 2 oscars have eaten him.. or do they leave the shell for some reason or another?.. not to worried aabout the snail... but can the snail harm the fish is they did eat it? they have been together for a little over a month with no problem..

snails are mostly water, therefore when they die, the rot fast. also, dead snails stink. he probably died, the oscar smelled it, and ate it.

Many cichlids like to eat snails.My oscar eats every snail I put in there

Oscar bait thats what happened to your snail, i recommend feeding them snails every so often, mine luv'em
