What is a good temp to keep a tank at? My tank is doing fine atm but I ve been reading a lot of variances about what temp. to keep a sw tank at. I have read a lot on chillers for salt aquariums.. but I also had the understanding that you keep the tank 75-78? (I have a heater) Although I have also read people getting chillers and keeping their tanks in the 60's. I am personally keeping a soft coral reef tank. I guess I am just looking for opinions on it.

Hi Ash

I keep the 2 fish systems around 82 degrees and I keep the Corals tanks around 78-80. From my research, a good majority of the people say that corals do not like much higher than 80. When using Higher watt MH, chillers may need to be added. I think most people run their chillers around 78-79.

Ok that helps me understand it better, thanks!
