u guys our probably thinking what a noob asking a question about cycling. well the problem is that i havent set up a tank in over a year and i have kinda forgot.
so can anyone recommend a way to cycle the tank as quickly as possible.
also is there any chance of cycling the tank in 2 days?
which chemical with benificial bacteria is the best to use to help with cycling?

i hear adding ammonia, but that wont work for 2 days. if you add ammonia be careful. it has to be the right amount and the right kind. Personnally i add feeders and alot of them to the tank. they spike the ammonia because i add so many then i take them out. or im adding a preadator to a tank, i put in less feeders and leave them. when the tank has cycled, i add the predator. bye bye feeders

Lightly stock your tank with some cheap tetras and add pre-packaged bacteria to your aquarium. Bio-spira is excellent if you can get your hands on it. If not then "cycle" is great as well. Check your params often for the first two weeks. If it get's cloudy that is normal. Do frequent water changes as well (just don't vaccum the gravel at first as this may harm your growing colony of bacteria)
