Pleco always trying to suck on my TSN. has anyone encountered somthing like this? They are about the same size 1'.

Separate them, plecos have been known to suck the slime coat off other fish. This will harm the TSN.

Plecos are more likely to do this if they are lacking somthing in there diet.

Agreed...I would separate them too.

That's the main reason why you can't keep plecos with rays.

yeah some plecos end up likeing the taste of other fishes slim big plecos over a foot can take scales off or cut the skin of scale less fish like catfish little ones will just eat the slime which can stress fish out and leave them suseptible to bacteria infection its not as big of a problem with these kinds of fish RTC lima shovelnose and tiger shovel nose will shed there slim coats often but plecos can still cause problems for them better to remove the pleco

you're not feeding your pleco enough. it's trying to get nutrients from the TSN slimecoat
