I am about to set up my tank and I do not want to do a fishless cycle. So I was looking for bio spira and can't find it. What happened?

prime is a water conditioner, bio-spira is live bacteria

somebody at my LFS told me that Bio-Spira got discontinued. she said they got sued by somebody who didnt follow the directions and killed all his expensive fish. dont know how accurate that is, so take it with a grain of salt

prime is a water conditioner, bio spira is bacteria. call around to all your lfs' and surely one will have it. but don't immediately dump lots of fish in, the system still won't be completely stable. oh and keep daily tabs on the water parameters for a couple weeks just in case.

theres something new i saw at my LFS recently. was made by marineland i believe, called "doctor someone-or-others" something

i know, not very helpful, lol. i do remember it saying it was the same as bio-spira, just without refridgeration needed
