Ok Heres my question. I have a 125 gallon tank and 2 baby texas in there with some other fish. I've done research but can't find too much info on the Texas. Just how aggressive do they get? And will they be ok with an oscar?

I will probably only end up keeping one of the Texas in the long run just as a space issue. One has really bright colour and one is pretty white.. I am thinking that means one male one female?

Texas cichlids are among the most onery, aggressive cichlids around. Whether they'll be cool with an O is a case by case thing. I've seen O's and T's kill each other. I've also seen them live in harmony.

So I guess an Imperial Shark is out of the question? lol

my carpintis (green texas) beat the snot out of my oscar that is at least 2" bigger than him, don't know about cyanoguttatum

i have a texas cichlid and i kept a oscar with it got rid of the oscar though i dont know but i say if u want u can experment. u get no where if u dont experment and go but the books

i have seem them both get along and one of the two get killed , i good idea is have plenty of places to hide hiding really a form of making their own home in the tank
