actually , that is one of the safest mixes of channa and at that size should work fine, they do not seem to recognise each other as rivals possably as they are channa and parachanna , But there is never any garrenties with channa in genral and i would allway advise against it without somewhere to move fish to if it doesnt work also i think the problem would be expected as they grow rarther than now .
it is a risk you have to decide if your willing to take , it could very easy end in the death of one or the other , but i have whitnessed that particular mix work on several occasions. and during moving of several tanks around mine had to spend some time together which they managed without any real sign of aggresion or adverse effects on either type of fish. pleuro and obscura are the only two snakeheads that people regularly manage to comm without problems ,
