QUESTION!?

Has anyone ever connected the intake hose of their canister to the output nozzle of a power head?(to increase flow rate)

If so i would like to know the problems you had or theoretical problems that may occur.

I don't think it would increase flow rate much if at all. It doesn't sound like it would be worth the trouble.

I don't think this will work at all. the pump in the canister will only pump so much by forcing more water into the filter I think it will do nothing but add unneeded stress to the filters pump.

Wouldn't that just burnout the impeller on the canister filter? Sounds like a bad idea.

yup... want more flow either DIY a wet dry set up and over flow or buy a bigger canister..
