I bought him at an LFS that was in a tank full of other convicts. He might be, but I am not certain who his parents are. In his first batch of fry there were some fry with spots, but that was when they were younger and I went through a move and I believe I lost them.

I am not sure why his stripes are not black. I belive they were black when I got him?

that is def not a normal black convict. are you sure it's not a pink convict? i honestly think it's a black mixed with a pink.
