Is a PH of 8 too high? And is a temp. of 76 ok for a yellow lab species tank?

I run at 76 and pH of 8, no problems.

The pH shouldn't be a problem as long as it's a gradual change. I would bump the temp up a little though, perhaps 79.

ok thankyou! I haven't gotten the fish yet, hopefully tomorrow! I just wanted to make sure I have everything right and undercontrol so they don't go into shock! So should I do a temp of 78 or is 76 ok? I know I just asked that but i just want to make sure!

Your fine . As long as the temp is in the safe zone (75 -82), then I think your good to go.
