i just added a blood parrot and a clown loach to my tank that has a JD and a common pleco in it. the JD seems fine with them being in there unless they try to get into his hiding spot. do you guys think they'll be fine together? the JD has "headbutted" the BP a couple times to stay away from the tree but other then that they seem fine

yeah i know but i couldn't fit more in my budget. the BP's were on sale for $10 so i didn't want to pass that up and the clowns were 7 each, plus i need a new decoration and algae wafers so it came out to be around $50. which was my budget. next time i go to the LFS i'll pick up 1 or 2 more clowns

BPs are pretty shy once they're first added to a tank. He should perk up.

yea they'll do fine, and like the guy in the top, loaches do better when schooling, you probably should be thinking about getting maybe 2,3 more

don't see how anyone can answer this question w/o knowing what size tank you have ...

so, what size tank do you have?

People can answer that because he was asking the compatibility of those fish. his question did not mention tank size, so all we can do is assume he has the proper size...

When it comes to cichlids there is no way to assume that any 2 cichlids will be compatible without knowing tank size. Compatibility depends almost entirely, imo, with the size of the tank. You can house red devils in a community setup in the right size tank.
