Well, technically, anything is possible if you have a big enough tank. Tank size typically dictates how likely you are to get away with one thing or another, so... hard question to definitively answer without understanding the tank size. If someone had something really big like a 500 gallon tank? Shoot... it'd probably work. In a 125 gallon? Unlikely.
