Ossett
Ok guys and gals.
I have 2 lovely oscars one tiger Oscar and one albino Oscar, I love these fish to bits and they are both my pride and joy.
I have had them both now for about 2 years and never had any major problems with them fighting apart from the initial who's gonna be boss fight. However out of the blue recently they have started to fight again and have no idea why. It isn't a continuous fight they are off and on. I am pretty sure they can't be mating as I am almost 100% certain they are both girls. I know for a fact that the albino Oscar is a girl as I have watched her lay eggs and I seem to recall watching my tiger Oscar lay eggs too.
Can anyone shed any light on what may have caused this, there have not been any recent additions to the tank and they are the only two oscars that I have.
Help please as I don't want to have to make a choice as to which one I keep and which one goes, they are both my babies and that is a choice that will really upset me.

What size is the tank? It's possible that with maturity they both want more space to claim as their territory.

:) don't mistake fighting with just "sparring"

whats the difference? The white one has been injured around her mouth. I am worried as I don't want to have to re-home them.
