This is one of the few monster tanks that I am extremely fond of. I hope to create something exactly like this. I know the creator of this tank doesn't lurk this forums, but I'm hoping some of you may be able to give me a good guess on some of these questions.

1. Does anyone know what kind of tank size this is? He says 1300 but I am not entirely sure if that is 1300 gallons. I know no one here will know exactly but some of you have a good eye.

2. Does anyone have any estimations on the dimensions?

3. Does anyone know what kind of floating plants those are?

4. Any thoughts on the tanks stock? Lots of comments saying the Red Tail and Channa will be the last fish alive in here. Any testaments to that?

Also, this tank seems to have very little water activity. Where are the bubbles and filters? It doesn't look too active, yet the filtration has to be working somehow.

This tank has really motivated me to create my own monster fish tank. I have 0 experience and no nothing about sumps/filtration. If anyone can lead me the right direction so I can learn, I'd be thankful. Thanks.

Sump is another form of filtration. It’s arguably the best filter in the hobby. It’s basically a tank under your tank for your filter media. I personally use filter sock for mechanical filter, an array of ceramics for biological, no chem filter whatsoever, and my heaters and pump goes in there. There’s a bajillion ways to set it but... use the K.I.S.S method make your life easier.

You are 100% right in as much that the tank in the video is an amazing tank. However, bearing in mind you have zero experience in the hobby i'd say you are 100% wrong if you think you can run it!

If i was you i'd forget about owning a tank like that for some considerable time yet and start off with a much much smaller tank and learn the basics first.

Admittedly we all have to start somewhere but that tank in the video is definitely not a viable starting point for a newbie.

A 55 or 75 gallons would be an excellent starting point if you’re wanting to own something like that in the future. It gives you plenty of options regarding stocking and the people here are endless sources of knowledge with a few of them having made major changes in the hobby. If you truly wish to have a monster sized tank with monster fish then this is the perfect place to be.

I already have a 50 gallon. I would start slowly but I know ultimately this is the tank I want. I am willing to drop a hefty price for it, so I'm trying to get an idea of the dimensions/etc.

I was looking at his other videos and look at what I found.

1,300 liters equals 343 gallons and I also found this

I expect the tank to be somewhere around those dimensions.

Awesome find. It seems like a rather simple set up doesn't it? I don't see a massive sump like everyone else would have. His simply seems to be just a fluval and maybe that was a heater next to it. This is such an impressive tank. The wood flooring beneath it just goes to show the extra attention he gives to this aquarium.
