Hey guys , i got up this morning and found my flowerhorn couple with eggs :headbang2, Now they are not the only fishes there, is a 210 g with lots of GT's,JD's,red devils Etc. i have a 55g tank with two oscars but i can get rid of them if need be. i also have an empty small 5g tank that i might be able to use for the fry.

My question is .i have a friend that told me to take the pot with the eggs and move it to a diff tank with the parents or without them , i'm not sure on that one ,or wait for the fry to hatch and move them without the parents ,

I dont know wish tank would be better for the fry/eggs

The problem is that for some reason the female is eating the eggs and the male is giving her a run for the money every time she gets close to the eggs , it's the first time they lay eggs

i also fear for the lifes of the rest of the fish once the fry hatches

Lol many questions here , please can anyone tell me what's the best option here?

Sorry for the bad english . I'll post some pictures of the couple and eggs once i get home

thanks

well if the mother is eating the eggs then i would take out the eggs but are u sure she is eating them and not moving them?also if the parents start becoming very agrseive to the other fish take out the eggs
