I’m making an overhead 7 gallon acrylic sump out of 1/4” acrylic (36x6x8). Most information I find is about the pin method which I didn’t want to do. For the capillary method should I be putting any pressure besides the weight of the acrylic sheet itself before I actually use the cement? What about after it has actually been sucked inside the seem? Should I apply extra pressure then? Can I tape up all 4 sides of the sump and do it at once?

Sorry, just dont know, but my acrylic sump, leaked after I glued it. A little sand paper, along the seams, then siliconed the whole thing, never leaked again. Lol
