If i change from gravel to sand does my tank have to recycle? i figured it would just be easier to clean so i though i would get some PF sand... i have a 20L tank and a 20G regular so would a 50 pound bag be sufficient?
If you have enough beneficial bacteria in your filter, your tank will not have to re-cycle. A 50 pound bag is more than enough for both tanks. Around 15 pounds would probably be good for each tank.
