Questions about meeki's

I just bought 3 fire mouth meeki's they are only about 1 inch long.I put them in my 90gal with my red devil.the devil was the only fish in the 90 and i wanted something else in there.I used to keep feeders in there for my flower horn and he didn't bother them.So i thought maybe if i put something very small in there he might leave them alone,and get used to them as they grow.It's an experiment to see if i can put something else in there with him.he is very agressive and won't allow tankmates.So far he has ignored them"so far".I want to know how big firemouth's get and if anybody has tried this before????note they will be removed if there is any sign of agression toward them.

meeki's grow to 6 inchs.....and i never tried to put anything with my RD. GOOD LUCK.

I have another tank to put them in if he get's agressive toward them,but i had to try.Who knows i've seen crazier things!!!!!!!!

knowing that is the case, it's worth a shot as long as you keep a close eye on the situation

Give it a couple of weeks and most likely you will start seeing the damage by then.
