Questions about moving tank

I'm looking to move a 230 gallon tank into my basement. there is a 90 degree angle in the top of my stairs and i'm wondering what the best way to move it around the corner. Can i set the tank down vertically on the little bit exposed staircase and go 1 stair at a time until I'm around the corner? Also how many people would it take to "comfortably" move the tank down the stairs? Thanks.

Stairs look similar to this image but turn is at the top of the stairs.

I am guessing there is no other way to get the tank downstairs?

That will be tough if the stair case is that narrow.

Nope no other way lol, and its roughly 30-32 inches wide.

Use 2 sheets of wood and slide it, I wouldn't go step at a time.

when i did my 220 it only took 2 people, but 4 would have been way better haha id say stand it up on that corner

Tanks can stand on their ends, so it should work provided that you set it down gently each time. Use more people than you need. Best of luck!
