Hello I just bought a new baby jardini arowana at 1.5" so its still pretty tiny than those larger babies sold at 3".....but he's pretty beefy right now unlike the other jars I saw in the other tanks that were hella skinny =/ but my question is what should I feed him at this very tiny stage? I bought those arowana sticks made from hikari for it later on when it gets bigger and I also bought some guppies for him, and I know feeder fish is probably bad for it but I just need it to eat so it doesnt die of starvation...Do you guys have any suggestions? Right now he's in a 30 gallon long tank with my 1" umbee's, 1" black convict's....I asked the store what they were feeding this lil guy and they said they never fed him before but his belly when I got him has kinda fat so he must have eaten some of the tankmates at the store. The fishes that he was in with was lots of .5-1" fancy guppies, lots of baby pleco's, glass catfish, fw barracuda's, and lots of baby fire eels, and lots of tetra's and other small catfishes.

im going through the same thing. frozen bloodworms, while offering some pellets so that they're there. drop in a cube of bloodworms and as they thaw and fall, your jar will hopefully tag them. my jar seems to be getting the leftovers off the bottom too. reminds me of the asian aro breeding video. the male picking up the eggs.

Best thing for aros this size is freeze dried blood worms, quality flake food and baby crickets once a week.

So ya have added another monster, yet no monster tank.
