Any ideas on what he is? Sorry the pics are not the best... HE HATES THE CAMERA!!!!

Just thought you should know that it's spelled pleco not placo. Your sig says it too, just a heads up. :) Plecostomus
 
When they're younger fish tend to look disproportionate. That's why baby arowanas look like 75% of their heads are eyes, but when they get old and rough their eyes look tiny.

It looks like H. plecostomus. Maybe you can post pictures of your other plecos... perhaps THOSE others aren't commons...

The fish in the pic I believe is an L-021 Pterygoplichthys Pardalis, known as the "common pleco". Hypostomus plecostomus is also known as a "common" but they only have 8 dorsal rays, where pterygoplichthys sp. will have 11 or more. Also most all "commons" you come across anymore tend to be pterygoplichthys sp.
