well first of all i guess i should say im not new to fish, been a fish keeper since i was a teenager. i have a 125 gallon tank with 2 oscars and a Jag, all over 10". they get along fine have had them about 6 years or so. I have never kept bichirs however and am thinking about getting into one or 2. so to my questions...
1. would a 55 gallon suffice?
2. what is thier real name, i.e. scientific name
3. live feed or pellet eaters?
4. nature, meaning casual like an Oscar, or relatively shy fish
5. out in the day time or nocturnal?
