Questions about palmas buettikofferi bichirs

I have a palmas polli and I was wondering if p. beuttikoferi was as active as p. polli? Do they look for food often like p. Pollis or do most of them hide and only come out at night?
Also, how quickly do they grow compared to other upper jaw species?

no buettikoferi is no where near as active as polli. if anything, they like to hide, and are slow grower on average.

I want a polli. I cant find them anywhere. I guess i have to go to thailand.
