Ok I have 6x Red Belly Piranhas about 3-4 inches big in a 180G Tank. Now I have a friend thats wants to get rid of 2x RBP about exact 5" big. If I add those piranhas to my group will mine try to attack them or the big guys will attack them? If so how long will they stop attacking each other and become friendly? I really want them but I just dont my piranhas to get into fights all the time or even EATING!! Plz Help! THANKS!! :D

feed your rbps then rearrange the tank and add the new rbps.
or you can just try to use a net to scare the rbps you have (after they are fed of course) and add the two new ones in.

first thing, be aware that 8 rbp in a 180 is fine, but i wouldn't go much over that number. but still, it's fine.

at these ages, you have higher chances of acceptance. one thing you should do is make a big water change and move all your setup around. changing their environment does help the ones already in the tank accepting newcomers.

also, since the gap between the two groups is not too big, there shouldn't be any problems. but as i said, big water change (50%) and move all your setup so they lose any territories they could have take possession of.

good luck!

Ok Ima do what you guys said and we'll see if it all goes fine. Thanks everyone!
