My Cuban cichlid pair laid eggs twice with no success. This time in her pot there are so many white eggs that are getting fungi on them. She is still fanning them when they are all dead. I was wondering if i should take the pot out and wash the dead eggs off so she can work on starting another batch. or will she clean off the fungus herself?

Most fish will eat them, but if it's her second time then she might not know if their dead. It usually takes a few times for cichlids to get the hang of caring for the eggs the right way.

I would wash them off tommorow if their not already eaten.
