Alright so i recently aquired a 100 gallon tank and want to make my own wet dry for it. I am thinking about using those stacked drawer storage devices that will sit in a bucket of some sort to make it. But i have a few questions regarding flow rates/pump size. I plan to make some type of overlow to feed into the filter so i would assume that my return pump would have to be pumping an equal amount of water out as the overlow is bringing in, correct? But there are so many factors involved in knowing the exact amount of water feeding into the filter and knowing exactly what the pump is putting out. So how do you guys do it??? Hopefully im missing something and someone can help me understand how to do this. Thanks!!!
