I need some advice on what to do...
A buddy of mine has a 75 gallon bowfront tank. The last time I went to visit, he had 2 small oscars and like 3 goldfish in it, with a pitbull pleco. They all fit well, and everyone had their space.
He was telling me how he was going to trade with his buddy because he didn't want the oscars.
I went to visit him, and I wanted to just scream.
His stocking list was the following:
4- Tin foil barbs 4-7"
2- senegal bichirs 8"
1- Fire eel 12"
6 Giant gouramis 6"
2 small plecos 3"
4 silver dollars 4"
And some stick looking sucker fish 7"
He also has these pyramid decorations, and they take up a ton of room.
They can't turn without touching another fish!
I told him that I have a 135 that's empty, and that I would take the tin foils, and the bichirs, and eel off his hands to free up some space, but I know that I can't house the tin foils forever because they get huge, and I was told today that once the pond is finished we are taking down the 1500 gallon in the basement, so I can't use that.
The tin foils can go in the pond for the summer, but then I would need something to keep them in during the winter tank, and the only thing I have is a 300 gallon stock water tank.
