Questions on a wet dry filter

I got my 125 up and going, i have a wet, dry filter with a 1400 mag drive sump pumping it, i have carbon in the bottom of the filter, and a filter at the top with eggs in between, do i need to put anything else in my filter, so far i love it i have to head pumping water out on both sides. Thanks!

By "eggs" I presume you mean bioballs.

Why not Pot Scrubbies? They are cheaper and apparently have more surface area. Do you have filter floss as a prefilter. If you don't, GET IT!
