questions on angelfish and knifefish

I have 3 angelfish. I know that they prefer to pair off later. but i cant do much about it right now. One black, and two gold veil ones i think. i noticed that the less dominant gold veil is turning paler, with the gold/ yellow coloring on the upper portion of the body. is there anything to worry about it?

Also recently got a small black ghost knifefish say about 2 inches are there any substition to the worms/ brine shrimp that other sites usually recommend for feeding? Some say color bits but I am not sure about that.
Similarly what should i worry about with clown loaches feeding and other stuff in general?

Try feeding at night with the lights off if you're having trouble getting the BGK food because of the loaches. Just put some food right outside his cave or hiding spot and he should eat them up.
