hello i have a 65g black water tank and i have 4 different swords, one willow spirit, 4 lilly pad plant and some duck weed. sorry not quite sure on the exact name of the plants. i wanted to add co2 in my tank but im kinda worry about my fish. my ph is generally on the low side (around 6.8ish)and from what i read co2 lowers your ph. i guess what im trying to get at is would my fish be ok if my ph goes any lower? i have 6 south american cichilds, 2 needle noses, 2 placos and one african cichlid

CO2 will lower your ph, even DIY CO2. Your African Cichlid would be happier in a tank with higher ph. I would concentrate on getting yout stock straightened out before making upgrades for the plants.

well my fish are ok right now with the current ph. its on the low side due to the black water. my south american cichlids love it as due my needle noses and plecos. im gonna be moving my african cichlid over to a new tank in the up coming weeks. it is set up now im just letting it run for a little while before i put and fish in there. just to be on the safe side i dont want any casualties in the new tank
