Hey all,

I am putting my hand at building a wet/dry out of a 55g for a new 220g my wife and I picked up.
There are a few points that I am looking for some clarification on.
Regarding the pump (I got a mag drive 2400), and overflow (eshopps PF-1800) I am trying to figure out how to attach everything.

From my understanding, I want to to go 1.5". Should I go all flexible or hard PVC? I'm not having any luck determining bulkhead attachments. Could anyone make a recommendation? (Should I use the same for the input as well as the output?)

Thanks!

I would us a combination of hard and flexible pipes. Hard for input, and flexi for return until the point it actually returns into the tank, as you need hard there.

Bulkhead attachments are a pain to find exactly what you want. Use w/e you can find that ok for plumbing and just make sure to silicon it well. Using the same size on the in and out is easiest.
